The purpose of this page is to explain how I go about selecting the world cups I plan to attend in a season, and explains how I think about the system we fence under.
This page applies best to Men's Epee fencers, because that's what I am. I hope it can be applied equally well to other Senior events and at least partially to Junior and Cadet.
For right now, I feel I've said everything I want to on this subject. There are still typos, incomplete thoughts and tenuous explanations. It's a sort of first draft, but it should stand up on its own even though it needs some serious polishing. Let me know what your reaction to it is.
