World Ranking

Your world ranking is based on the sum of your six highest results, with a maximum of four from any one zone, plus any points earned at World Championships.

A result stays in place until the same tournament is held the next season, or if it isn't held then it stays in place 12 months. In some cases, a tournament could be held late one season and early the next season so that result would be in place much less than 12 months. And conversely it could be held early one season and late the next so it would be in place more than 12 months.
